The reconstructed waiting room on platform 2 which was brought from Weston Sub Edge.  It now houses a small museum.

The fireplace is original from 1865, although the fire grate itself was replaced by a larger one by the G.W.R. at a later date.

A facsimile of the 1964 summer timetable, the last summer before the line was closed by British Railways.

Classic trains are not the only form of transport to be seen at Carrog Station, this scene was taken during a 1960`s weekend in July 2011.

There`s plenty of free parking at the station.

Here are two ladies who are regular visitors to the station, one (who`s husband is one of the station staff and author of this website) is an avid wool spinner and machine sock knitter and the other is also an avid spinner and hand knitter.   They are always happy to discuss their craft with any interested onlookers.

17th. September 2022 and four members of the North Shropshire Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers took part in the Worldwide Spin in Public Day.  There was plenty of interest from the travelling public!

Ready for the Queen`s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The last scheduled departure from Carrog as a terminus on 31st May 2023,  almost exactly 27 years after the first arrival.
